Brian and Tanika Lovely are great clients of ours. We met them a little over 2 years ago when we photographed their first expectancy images. Their son BJ is now almost 2 years old and ALIVE. He is a kid with lots of energy. They just had their second child, a beautiful little girl,Briana. It was such a pleasure to photograph this Lovely family, no pun intended. It is refreshing to see and work with couples and families that truly exemplify TRUE LOVE for one another.

“40th Birthday Surprise”

On Saturday, March 6th, Kim was surprised by her lovely husband Tony with a Grand 40th Birthday party at Lambert Place in Atlanta. This event was very well attended by family and friends. Tia Ervin and her staff at Milestone Occasions have done it again. The decor, the flow, and class of this event were definitely nothing less than spectacular, which is the Milestone Occasions way. Christopher Velilla, the GM at Lambert place and his staff were great as well and it was a pleasure working with them. Kim arrived a little after 8:30pm with her husband and walked into a ballroom that was decorated with beautiful drapery and lighting effects. As she walked through the room, hugging her guest, she was visibly surprised as to who was in attendance. She was totally floored and surprised. The rest of the night was filled with fun, laughter and dancing. Happy 40th Birthday Kim we wish you many, many more happy returns and it was a pleasure working with you.

“Maternity Passion”

A few years ago, Cynthia and Jasper were married at the Trolley Barn. Their beautiful fall wedding was amazing. Now they are having a beautiful baby. While doing their maternity shoot last weekend, it was obvious that they are very excited about their expectancy. They are a great couple and we always enjoy working with them. Here are a few of my FAVs from the shoot.

“Women With Heart” Healthy Heart Week in Review

The Event was a major success. It was kicked off on day one with the “Healthy Heart Luncheon “Fundraiser which was well attended. The speaker of the day was Sheila A. Robinson, M.D. President, Georgia State Medical Association, Inc. The discussion was focused on the signs of heart disease in women and also testimonials were given by women who have survived heart diseases. The committee members were all dressed in RED for their Group and Head shots.

Day two was the Atlanta University Center walk. It was a dreary cold day, but the walkers were very enthusiastic. Amongst the walkers were First lady Eilene Maupin (founder), former Atlanta Braves, Brian Jordan and former Atlanta Falcons, TJ Duckett, amongst others.

Day three was the “Healthy Heart Breakfast for Men” Fundraiser. This was held in the executive board room and was well attended by many dignitaries. It was great to see men learning about the health of women heart and the signs of heart diseases in women.

Day four was the “Healthy Heart Screenings”. Women from all over the metropolitan Atlanta area came by the bus loads to have screenings done. Free screenings were provided for Blood Pressure, Dental, Glucose/ Cholesterol, Body Mass Index (BMI), HIV/AIDS and healthy eating. Although I was a vendor for this event, I learned so much information. Next year I will make sure that all the important women in my life attend this very worthy event. I even had my Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and dental screenings done. Thanks to the Women With Heart for such an amazing event.

Tamille’s & LaMarr’s January Bliss

Tamille and LaMarr shared their nuptuals on January 23rd at the Eleven 15 Event facility in Suwanee, Georgia. It was a beautiful wedding. The weather was a little dreary and cold, but the love that Tamille and LaMarr shared, warmed up the entire place. In addition to our normal wedding coverage, we provided our Visual Site Printing service at this event, which the guests loved. Guests were amazed to view all of the images LIVE, and they were eager to have souvenirs printed to take home. UGA Love…

On Friday January 22nd, I traveled to Athens Georgia to photograph Charnelle’s and Antonio’s engagement photos on the world famous UGA campus. It was great to be back in Bulldog land and more importantly documenting the special Bliss that Charnelle and Antonio shares. The shoot started out by the Campus Bookstore, which is where they met and continue on throughout the campus. What I remembered more was the fact that they could not stop laughing and enjoying the time they were spending together. Charnelle is the sister of April Davenport of Papered Wonders and the wedding will take place in the fall of 2010. Here are a few of my favorites moments.

This is a great venue for all events. We recently had an event there and Angela and her staff were amazing. Chief Myles 4th Birthday party

Chief Myles turned four and celebrated at the Dekalb fire station 22 on Montreal Road in Tucker. Adults and kids of all ages attended the party. Myles had a blast. He enjoyed the fire engine, and we photographed every moment. The event was very special in that the fire chief took the time to do a tour of the station and educated everyone on some fire safety tips. I had opportunity to go up 8 stories on the fire engine ladder to get some aerial shots. It was a great event for the kids and adults. Happy 4th Birthday Myles, I’m sure you will always remember this one.
